Online communication
Over the past few years, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) have been looking at ways to improve communication with our customers.
The online services provided by HMRC have grown steadily. As time goes by, our customers express a wish to communicate more and more with us online.
In particular, many of our customers now ask for a facility to exchange information electronically. In addition, they would like to be able to see customer records, such as notes of telephone calls or meeting notes.
With this in mind, HMRC has piloted a new initiative. This new initiative is called the Shared Workspace.
