The responsibilities of a BAO
Every Room must have at least two HMRC BAOs. The BAO responsibilities are
Managing Members
- Adding Customer Organisations to a Room.
- Authenticating the details of the Customer Organisation Representative (COR).
- Creating custom roles.
- Approving or rejecting changes to Room membership.
Managing Content
- Setting access controls on specific items/files/database rows.
- Managing information in accordance with HMRC & SW policies/guidance.
- Approving or rejecting requests to delete items/files/database rows.
- Managing the Recycle Bin.
Managing Rooms
- Requesting a new Room template.
- Maintaining the security of a Room.
- Locking or closing a Room.
