Inheritance Tax quarters calculator for trusts - introduction

This calculator will give you the number of quarters (three month periods) when Inheritance Tax is charged on a trust for certain chargeable events.

When you can use this calculator

You can use this calculator where there is:

a ten year anniversary charge and the assets haven't been relevant property for the full ten years
an exit charge on assets transferred out of the trust before or after the first ten year anniversary

Don't use this calculator for a charge arising on an 18 to 25 trust
