Members
To use Shared Workspace you must be a member of a Room.
The majority of members within Shared Workspace will be either
- an Observer - a member who can view items but not make changes
- or, a Participant - a member who can read, change and add new items to a Room.
Your role within Shared Workspace will be as an Observer or Participant.
Certain nominated members are given extra responsibilities.
- A Customer Nominated Contact (CNC)- can request the addition or removal of customer members from a Room - or request a change of role for existing customer members.
- A Customer Organisation Representative (COR)- liaises with HMRC to add their customer organisation to Shared Workspace and nominates the Customer Nominated Contacts.
- A Business Authorising Officer (BAO)- is an HMRC member who manages and coordinates Room membership, content, structure and security.
- The SW Team (SWT)- is responsible for the administration of Shared Workspace.
