Aims
This learning package aims to give you an understanding of your responsibilities as a Customer Organisation Representative (COR) and Customer Nominated Contact (CNC) by highlighting the duties of your new role.
To demonstrate the day to day running of a SW Room, this learning will use the following fictitious names.
- An HMRC business unit called Business Contact Unit
- A SW room called Business Contact Unit: Castleroy plc
- A fictitious BAO called Martha Matthews
- A fictitious COR called Bruce Nolan
- A fictitious CNC called Colin Flood
HMRC is collaborating with Castleroy plc to obtain their feedback on various sections of the HMRC website.
Bruce Nolan has been nominated as the COR for Castleroy plc. He has been in contact with Martha Mathews and agreed to register Castleroy plc to collaborate with HMRC using the Shared Workspace Service. The duty of a COR is to nominate the first two CNCs, one of whom is Colin Flood.
